🍜 Beef Broccoli in Noodles Recipe
⭐️ Ingredients:
For the Beef & Marinade:
-
12 oz (340g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp cornstarch
-
1/2 tsp baking soda (optional, for tenderness)
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
1 tsp rice vinegar or Shaoxing wine (optional)
For the Sauce:
-
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
-
2 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1 tbsp hoisin sauce or honey
-
1 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp cornstarch
-
2/3 cup water or beef broth
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
-
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
Stir-Fry Ingredients:
-
2–3 cups broccoli florets
-
8 oz (225g) noodles (lo mein, ramen, udon, or spaghetti)
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp ginger, grated
-
2 tbsp vegetable oil or peanut oil
-
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
🔪 Instructions:
1. Marinate the Beef:
In a medium bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and vinegar. Toss well and let sit for 15–30 minutes (up to 1 hour in the fridge for more flavor).
2. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin or honey, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth. Set aside.
3. Cook the Noodles:
Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
4. Stir-Fry the Broccoli:
In a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp oil. Add broccoli and 2 tbsp water. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
5. Sear the Beef:
Add another 1 tbsp oil to the pan. Add marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes without stirring to get a good sear. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until just cooked through. Remove beef and set aside.
6. Sauté Aromatics:
Add garlic and ginger to the same pan. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
7. Combine Everything:
Return the beef and broccoli to the pan. Add cooked noodles. Pour the sauce over everything. Toss well and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is coated and heated through.
🌿 Garnish & Serve:
Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or a drizzle of Sriracha for heat. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade takeout-style meal!
🔁 Variations:
-
Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes or chili garlic sauce to the stir-fry.

Extra veggies: Add bell peppers, snow peas, or carrots for more crunch and color.
🧊 Storage:
